A double bombing killed at least 27 people, most of them policemen, and wounded dozens in a parking lot outside the offices of police of the oil city of Kirkuk in northern Iraq Thursday
, security officials said.
The attack came after a car bombing earlier this month against a police station in the southern city of Hilla which killed 16 people, including some officers, and an escape from jail after not from the interior ministry compound in Baghdad that left six policemen dead, including a counter-terrorism in general.
